My work as a visual artist means that I am continually exploring a diverse range of media and subjects. Whilst the media and subject may be varied, my method remains much the same. Usually beginning with a piece of text or an image which inspires me. I particularly enjoy photography and often manipulate my own images, I find this helps with my creative process. Whether I choose to use textiles or paint I consciously use multiple layers, this conceals or possibly reveals subtle clues to the context of my work.
